Site Key Information

Hazel Farm is a new 2.75mw site that’s been delivered on-budget, and within the agreed time scale for our funding partner.    

This has been a unique site in terms of the equipment being used by Western Power, and has been over a year in the making.  Due to “Voltage Rise” and other technical reasons, this site was only going to be around 1MW in size.  After lots of technical work, we were able to work with Western Power to generate an amazing 2.75mw on site.   This was another quick build, starting in mid-September2012, and ready for connection to the grid by Western Power in November of the same year.
